Elyse Ayers holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance Performance and Digital Media from Rhode Island College. She began dancing when she was three years old at Shannon O’Brien School of Dance in Attleboro, Massachusetts where she is currently a teacher and choreographer. In her time at Rhode Island College, Elyse has had the opportunity to work with various artists including Kat Pantos, Adrienne Hawkins, Jessica Pearson, Daniel McCusker, Angelica Cardente-Vessella, Joshua Tauson and Marta Renzi. Elyse has attended multiple dance conventions including Co. Dance, West Coast Dance Explosion, ADA in Class, LA Dance Magic, and JUMP. She has also performed along the east coast with SOSD. Recently, Elyse received a regional young choreography award at American Dance Awards and placed top three for young choreography at nationals. Elyse is now the SOSD Competition Director and runs their Social Media. Elyse’s passion for dance shows both in her choreographic works and in the studio with her students.
