Samantha Twardowski

Samantha is a 2012 graduate of Dean College’s prestigious Dance Program. While at Dean, she performed in both soloist and ensemble roles as a member of the Dean Dance Company. While at Dean, she focused on learning pedagogy - the art of teaching dance.

After graduation, she continued to share her passion for the art as an instructor, teaching throughout the New England region as both a full-time faculty member at several renowned studios, and as a guest instructor throughout the school year. As a tenured teacher at the Joanne Langione Dance Center in Newton, MA, she served as Lead Instructor, Director of the Summer Dance Program and Director of the Junior Apprentice Program, which sought to train a new generation of young dancers and classroom demonstrators.

Samantha has continued her own dance education through attending various conferences and workshops including the Northeast Workshop for Dancers and The Dance Awards, taking master classes from renowned dance educators throughout the country. She continues to teach and is thrilled to be a ballet instructor at SOSD where she can focus on the technical aspects of dance and instill the foundation for a strong dance education.

More About our studio

30 Years of Excellence

We call ourselves a Dance Company, not a competition team, because it is all about education through conventions, workshops, guest teachers and performance opportunities.
